This weekend / week how ever long it takes i'll be taking the LOZ Challenge. meaning this.
start at the first game Made for the NES. then the second, Third and so on.
Add up all the times. at the end of the game (inc the second time thru *the first game has the master quest*. that will be played as a different game and new time to be added) Each death counts as an Extra 30 minutes onto the total. You must collect all items and hearts for each of the games. No codes may be used. then display your final time between ALL of the zelda games.
Shortest time wins. anyone can play and take the totals and list them here. I may make this a tab at the top of the page or make it it's own blog. Let the games begin.

Mario Bros. (NES)

Plumbers Mario and Luigi must dispose of all the critters coming out
of pipes in the action-packed arcade game that initiated the most
popular video game franchise of all time. Two players can cooperate and
compete in one of the first multiplayer hits of Nintendo.
As its title suggests, Mario Bros. marks the first appearance of
Mario's brother Luigi when two players compete together. The game also
introduces several staples of the franchise. Mario is now a plumber
(instead of a carpenter in Donkey Kong), faces turtle-like enemies and
can collect coins in bonus stages. However be careful, it is not yet
possible to directly jump on enemies like in further episodes. Find a
way to make them inoffensive beforehand

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Nintendo 64)

Released to an eager audience in 1998, The Legend of Zelda:
Ocarina of Time became an instant smash and quickly established
itself as one of the greatest games ever made.
As legendary hero Link, you must journey across Hyrule, and
even through time itself, to thwart the plans of Ganondorf.
You’ll wield weapons and gadgets, battle enormous bosses and
solve brain-busting puzzles, which are among the best ever seen
in the Zelda series.
Ocarina of Time brilliantly adapted the 2D, top-down style of
classic Zelda adventures into 3D, becoming a textbook example of
game design that is still followed today.
But the appeal of ‘Ocarina’ lies not only in its cinematic
visuals or groundbreaking combat system; it also impresses with
its epic storyline, memorable characters, superbly designed
dungeons and rich variety of gameplay. Quite simply, it’s a
masterpiece!
